Tree of Lights

Dear community residents
Thank you to all who helped raise funds for the Tree of Lights event. Two worthwhile charities in the Bracebridge area were chosen as recipients, .....Interval House, a safe haven for abused women and their children, and Out of the Cold, an ecumenical program in Bracebridge which helps those in need during the harsh winter months. A total of $540 was raised to be divided equally.
As we see the lit trees in St Stephen's churchyard, we are reminded of those in need currently, and those dear to us but no longer with us. The Tree of Lights represents Love, Hope, Peace and Joy.
Both churches, St David's and St Stephen's (co-sponsors of The Tree of Lights), would like to wish a very Happy New Year to all.
