.THE HEAT (2013)
Oscar winner Sandra Bullock plays an uptight FBI special agent.  Oscar nominee Melissa McCarthy embodies a foul-mouthed Boston cop.  They join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord in “the funniest movie of the year”.  Warning:  lots of swearing!!

THE MARTIAN (2015)
Matt Damon leads a stellar cast in this breathtaking sci-fi adventure.  During a manned mission to Mars, American astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead and left behind by his crew.  But Watney must find a way to contact Earth and survive on a barren planet with meager supplies.  Meanwhile, an international team of scientists devises a near-impossible rescue plan to bring him home!

SPECTRE (2015) 
A cryptic message from the past sends Bond (James Craig) on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome.  Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organization known as Spectre.  Meanwhile, back in London, the new head of the Centre for National Security questions Bond’s actions and challenges the relevance of M16, led by M (Ralph Fiennes).  As Bond ventures towards the heart of Spectre, he learns of a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks.

SPY (2015)
Melissa McCarthy plays deskbound CIA analyst Susan Cooper.  When her partner (Jude Law) falls off the grid and another top agent is compromised, Susan volunteers to go deep undercover and bring down a deadly arms dealer.  Loaded with wisecracking action and adventure, “SPY is a mission impossible to resist!”
12 YEARS A SLAVE (2013)
Winner of three Academy awards, including Best Picture, !2 Years a Slave is based upon the true story of Solomon Northup.  Northup (Chiwetel Ejiofor), free citizen of New York, is kidnapped and sold into slavery.  Stripped of his identity and deprived of dignity, he is ultimately purchased by ruthless plantation owner Edwin Epps (Michael Fassbender) and must find the strength to survive.  The cast includes Best Supporting Actress Oscar Winner Lupita Nyong’o, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Brad Pitt.  “Abundant with beauty and power.”
