Johnny Cake

JOHNNY CAKE WITH REAL MAPLE SYRUP

Ingredients:

1 1/3 cups flour

2/3 cup cornmeal

4 tsp baking powder

1/4 cup sugar

3/4 tsp salt

1 cup milk

2 eggs

1/4 cup melted butter

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Add wet ingredients and mix only until moistened.

Bake in a square pan at 400 degrees F for 40 minutes.

Serve hot with fresh, Vankoughnet maple syrup. Delicious!
