60th anniversary of George Vais St. David’s minister

The Session at St. David’s Presbyterian Church, Vankoughnet invites you to attend a special Service on Sunday August 5, 2012 at 10.30 a.m.

This year marks the 60^th anniversary of George Vais’ coming to St. David’s as a summer student minister. As it turned out, he ended up serving this charge for the following five summers before going on to Presbyterian College, Montreal for his second year of Theological Studies.

There will be a pre-service Hymn Sing led by Bill Elliott starting around 10 a.m. The Special Music during the service will be presented by Elaine and Ken Heron. George will speak on – “As I approach my Third Retirement”.
