The “Tree of Lights”

Post date: Nov 21, 2016 1:23:25 AM

The “Tree of Lights” has become a long-standing tradition in our community. St. David’s Presbyterian Church and St. Stephen’s Anglican Church invite you to participate in the lighting of the tree, an event to be held in St. Stephen's at 4:30 pm on Sunday, November 27. During the season the tree in St Stephen’s churchyard will be lit every evening at sundown. Should you wish to purchase a symbolic bulb for the tree in memory of a loved one (white bulb) or in honour of someone (blue bulb) you may do so by contacting one of Joanne Sutton (645-9363) sutton.mj@bell.net or Jennifer Milne (646-0248) mondayschild47@bell.net or Patti Thompson (645-0037) psthmpsn@muskoka.com. Bulbs are $5.00 for each name remembered. All money collected will be donated in equal parts to Interval House and Out of the Cold Program. The names of those you have chosen to remember will be recognized at the Christmas Eve services at St Stephen’s (4 pm) and St David’s (7:30 pm)
