The Changes within her lifetime: Minnie was born in 1913!

Technologies such as Electricity, Radio, television, telephone were either not yet invented or in their developmental infancy. She has lived through both the 1st world war (started 1914) and the 2nd.

Locally, Hwy118E was just a dirt road that ended roughly around clear lake road. Logging and milling operations were big business. Farming was....life! No "Supermarket" until the 60's!....and it was a long WAGON RIDE to town if you needed something.

The amount of Change Minnie and other long lived folks have experienced it their lifetime is truly staggering! Computers? Inter-what?????
